Contact forms

Should you fill in a contact form, we will only use this data to make direct contact with you at your request. It will be kept for no more than two-months. by filling in any form on the site you are agreeing to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

When someone visits www.ponderconstruction.com we use a third-party service – Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify you. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Who we share your data with

If you choose to work with Ponder Construction, we will share your contact details with delivery companies and window fitters as is necessary for us to complete the job. Our subcontractors are compliant with GDPR laws.

Should you enter into a sales agreement with us, we will necessarily share your data with the following people in order to carry out work:

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We have robust measures in place to minimise and prevent data breaches from taking place. Should a breach of personal data occur (whether in respect of you or someone else) then we must take notes and keep evidence of that breach. If the breach is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals then we must also notify the Information Commissioner’s Office within 72 hours.

If you are aware of a data breach you must contact enquiries@ponderconstruction.co.uk and the Data Protection Manager, Anne immediately and keep any evidence you have in relation to the breach.
