About White House
A two bay oak cart lodge complete with log store was hand constructed in green oak timber at the White House in Dedham. The cart lodge consisted of one open and one closed bay with solid oak doors and oak featheredge boarding. Traditional natural slates and cast-iron guttering were fitted to this period style outbuilding. The bricks around the base of the cart lodge were hand made to match the existing dwelling.
